The most budget option at the moment is the Gigabyte X570 UD (AM4, ATX). It will be interesting to those who do not need additional illumination, and who have additional expansion devices for transmitting video and sound. The manufacturer saved on the rear panel interfaces and RGB illumination.
The package is made in standard Gigabyte colors, which shows important features of the backplane: PCIe 4.0, Smart Fan 5, Fan Stop, 10 + 2 phases of power, support for LED strips, BIOS flashing without turning on the computer with Q-Flash Plus technology. This set of functions is quite enough for such a price.
The motherboard is packaged in an antistatic bag. Instead of a factory seal, we tear off adhesive tape, which shows that the goods have not yet been opened.

Despite the low price niche, the printed circuit board has an original brown color with a high-quality elemental base, there is nothing to complain about:
Cheapness manifests itself if you look at the device from the side: we find several USB ports, a universal mouse and keyboard connector, a local area network, HDMi output, a Q-Flash button and three analog audio interfaces. I would like to have an additional video output Display Port and digital sound.
A distinctive feature of all motherboards with the X570 logic set is the presence of a fan for cooling the “hot” chipset to provide support for 16-cores AMD Ryzen processors:
The kit did not have a soft backing for easy assembly, so take it from the previous flagship model Z170:
To install the CPU, we raise the bounding rod, find the corresponding pointers on the socket and processor, and perform the installation.
There is a backplate on the back of the motherboard, so the cooler should stand up without any additional devices.
It can be seen that the cooler overlaps the first slot of the RAM, so we stick two DDR4 strips into the second and fourth cells to activate the two-channel mode.

Video cards now have large dimensions, so you need to carefully approach the process of installing them. Most of them require additional nutrition. There are enough PCI slots for other expansion cards, such as sound or Wi-Fi. They are desirable, since this configuration does not include the most efficient Realtek ALC887 audio codec , and there are no wireless interfaces at all. Enough space for everything:

Online forums are full of reports that the third-generation AMD Ryzen processors do not reach the stated frequencies in Turbo mode. Therefore, motherboard manufacturers released BIOS updates with the AGESA 188.8.131.52 B libraries. The @BIOS utility included with APP Center is one way to upgrade the firmware:
