Dell Optiplex 3080 Micro i3 10100T Mini Computer Unboxing

Hello everyone! Today there will be a review on the Dell Optiplex 3080 Micro computer.

A very small and compact computer with a height of 183 mm, a depth of 178 mm and a width of 36 mm. The case is the size of a diary, fits perfectly where there is little space.

The reviewed version is packed with a fresh Intel Core i3-10100T processor, released in 2020, which has four cores, eight threads with a base frequency of 3.00 GHz, and 3.80 GHz in Turbo mode. The processor is equipped with integrated graphics Intel® UHD 630. RAM from the Korean company SK hynix DDR4 4GB with a clock frequency of 2666 MHz and a bandwidth of 21300 MB/s. Installed SSD format – M.2 from Samsung for 128 GB. The equipment is of high quality.

The computer comes in a large box with the DELL logo.

Inside, the box is divided into two parts. The keyboard is located on top in a separate box.

At the bottom is a computer, separate wires and a mouse.

Standard membrane keyboard with low keys. Optical mouse. Both accessories are USB connected and perform well.

Ports. There are many of them and this is very good. On the front panel there is a power button, two USB 3.2 ports and ports for a microphone with headphones. At the back are four USB ports, two of which are 3.2 format, a Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI and DisplayPort. Any peripheral device can be connected thanks to such a rich set of USB ports.

We remove the protective case and climb inside. Everything inside is very compact and miniature. A small heatsink with a cooler for cooling the processor.

There are two slots for RAM under the cooler. One slot is occupied by a pre-installed memory strip. If necessary, you can add a second memory strip or replace the existing one with a larger one.

In addition to the installed SSD M.2. there is a slot with a mount for a 2.5″ hard drive. You can install an additional disk without much difficulty.

A computer is great for work and study. Low noise level contributes to comfortable work. Heating is very weak. Even after a full day of work, the computer case is slightly warm. An excellent set in terms of value for money.
