The video card comes in a box of cardboard with high-quality printing on the entire surface.
On the front side is the name of the product and belonging to the RTX series. Well then, let’s check if this video card is really super. The logos on the box promise RGB backlighting, a proprietary Windforce cooling system, factory overclocking of the video chip, while maintaining and extending the warranty for up to four years.
The main principles of the cooling system are multidirectional rotation of the fans and a more competent distribution of air flows between the fins of the radiator. Direct contact technology provides superior heat transfer quality from the hot chip directly to the heat pipes and further to the heat sink. There are several options for highlighting the logo with control using proprietary GIGABYTE RGB Fusion technology, you can choose from several million options for shades and primary colors. To improve cooling and increase the structural strength, the video card is equipped with a special plate – a backplate, which allows the video card to practically not bend under its gigantic weight.
The sticker on the side of the video card communicates service information – serial number, model, and more.
Inside the main box, oddly enough, there is another box. It, in turn, is made of black cardboard and performs a protective function while keeping the expensive contents safe and sound during transportation.
Inside the big black box is another box, already smaller. It contains:
- driver disk;
- registration card for extending the warranty to 4 years;
- installation and startup guide.
Let’s move on to a more detailed examination of the video card itself.
The video card is made in a simple design with a massive plastic casing and large fans for high-quality cooling.
Fans have characteristic protrusions on the blades. According to the manufacturer, this was done to reduce noise and increase the effective working area of the blades.
The video card has a three-slot cooling system using the maximum number of modern technologies. There are heat pipes, direct contact technology, and competent distribution of fins in the radiator.
Manufacturer logo with RGB backlight. Not the most useful innovation (a purely marketing thing), but it gives an additional gloss and feeling to a modern product – all in the spirit of the times.
I want to draw the reader’s attention to the lack of analog video output in this video card. Only modern monitors with digital connectors can be connected. Old monitors – only through separately purchased adapters from numbers to analogs.
Well, finally, I want to share photos of the video card with the backlight on. I love.
I chose a video card solely for tests and reviews on specialized resources. Definitely recommend for purchase!
