Review on CPU Intel Core i5-9400F LGA1151 BOX
2 min readHello! I present to you a small review on the Intel Core I5-9400F processor. For me, the need to choose a processor arose due to my professional career, to build a gaming computer. Having decided on the amount allocated to the processor, the choice was stopped on this model. I admit, honestly, up to this point I have never been able to assemble computers on the processors of the latest Intel series. Therefore, the choice was stopped on this model.
By the way, the processor is very good – 6 cores, 6 threads. And this at a nominal frequency of 2.9 GHz, and 4.1 GHz in Turbo mode. With these parameters, the dissipated power is 65 watts.
As always, a boxed version of the processor was purchased. And the reason for this is not a complete cooler, but a guarantee of a service period of 3 years, and in the OEM version this period is only 1 year.
The processor comes in the original packaging under the seals.
In addition to the processor, a boxed cooler is included in the package, which will be able to cope with the duties assigned to it. Moreover, a thermo hundred was applied to it from the factory .
My assembly involved the installation of a third-party cooler-tower, so I put it in a long drawer. Now it remains to smear the processor with thermal grease and install a cooling cooler on it.
In this case, the cooling system is meant, it is not supposed to set any records. By installing a tower cooler, the visual component was pursued.
I will not torment the audience with long stories about all kinds of tests and the behavior of the processor in various programs. I can only say that, in comparison with its predecessors, the difference is noticeable in many ways, even in the installation of the operating system. I liked the processor VERY! High power and performance in a compartment with low temperatures will please any, not very demanding user. Have a good shopping!
